Fish on the Mountain play traditional folk and country blues. Sometimes soft and quiet, sometimes heavy and dark, sometimes defiant and loud with a pinch of humour. True to the motto “go backwards to go forwards” they present a mixture of old & new – traditionals, contemporary folk and originals – and create something of their own. The focus is on the stories told in the songs – stories of life, suffering and struggle.
